Integración domótica Panasonic Aquarea, gratuita y de código abierto

Panasonic Aquarea heat pumps via Aquarea Smart Cloud or HeishaMon: temperatures, modes, energy.
La documentación de esta integración la escribe su autor y, por ahora, solo está disponible en inglés.
This integration brings your Panasonic Aquarea air-to-water heat pump into Gladys, in one of two ways:
- Aquarea Smart Cloud, the Panasonic cloud, for a heat pump connected with a CZ-TAW1 or CZ-TAW1B adapter and visible in the Panasonic Comfort Cloud app;
- HeishaMon, a small open source board plugged on the CN-CNT port of the heat pump, read locally: through your MQTT broker, or directly through its web page.
You get the temperatures and setpoints of the heating zones, the hot water tank, the outdoor temperature, the mode, the quiet and powerful modes, the defrost, the error code (also a scene trigger) and the energy for the energy dashboards of Gladys. Unofficial, not affiliated with Panasonic.
Development version (0.1). Developed and tested without a heat pump: the Panasonic cloud and HeishaMon were simulated from the documentation of the projects that use them (Home Assistant integrations, HeishaMon). Your feedback is welcome on the GitHub repository.

Requirements
- Gladys Assistant 5.2.0 or later.
- Cloud: your Panasonic ID (e-mail address and password), with the heat pump visible in the Panasonic Comfort Cloud app; Gladys must reach the Internet.
- HeishaMon: a HeishaMon board on the heat pump, connected to your Wi-Fi. Best with an MQTT broker (Mosquitto…) the board publishes to; without one, Gladys reads the board's web page.
Installation
With Aquarea Smart Cloud
- Check that the heat pump shows up in the Panasonic Comfort Cloud app with your Panasonic ID.
- In Gladys, open the integration, Configuration, section Aquarea Smart Cloud: type your Panasonic ID and its password, save.
- If your Panasonic ID uses two-factor authentication, the status asks for a code: click Send a two-factor code, type the current code of your authenticator app.
- Open the Discovery tab: your heat pump is there, add it.
With HeishaMon and an MQTT broker
- In the web page of HeishaMon (Settings), check the MQTT server (your
broker) and the MQTT topic base (
panasonic_heat_pumpby default). - In Gladys, section HeishaMon: type the address of the broker as seen
from the Gladys machine (
mqtt://192.168.1.10:1883, not localhost), the base topic, and the user name and password of the broker if it has some. Several heat pumps: separate their base topics with commas. - Discovery tab: the heat pump appears at once (HeishaMon keeps its last values on the broker), add it.
With HeishaMon, without a broker
Type the address of the board itself in Address of the MQTT broker or of
HeishaMon: http://192.168.1.30. Gladys reads its page every 30 seconds by
default (option below) and sends the commands to it.
The Test the connection button reads the heat pump with the saved configuration and sums up what it found.
Options
- Interval between two cloud reads: 2 minutes by default (1 minute to 1 hour). Panasonic limits the calls of an account: do not go faster than needed. The consumption per day is read once an hour.
- Application version (advanced): leave empty. Only if Panasonic refuses
the version announced by the integration, type the version of the Comfort
Cloud app (for example
4.3.0). - Verify the TLS certificate: for an
mqtts://broker with a self-signed certificate, turn it off. - Interval between two reads of the HeishaMon page: without a broker only.
- Minimum interval between two readings of a measurement: 30 seconds by default. Temperatures and powers change every few seconds on a running heat pump: Gladys keeps the last one at this pace. Modes, setpoints and on/off are never delayed.
- Language of the feature names: French or English.
- Prefer the local connection (switch of Gladys): when both the cloud and HeishaMon are filled in, on = HeishaMon, off = the cloud. A heat pump read through the cloud and through HeishaMon makes two different devices in Gladys.
Good to know
- The mode is the one of the rooms: Off stops the room heating but keeps the hot water if the heat pump makes some (HeishaMon: "DHW only"; cloud: zones off, tank kept). To stop everything, use Heat pump on/off. Choosing heating, cooling or auto keeps the hot water as it was and switches the heat pump on if needed.
- Setpoints on a heating curve: when a zone follows a compensation curve, its setpoint is a shift of the curve, from −5 to +5 °C (named "shift (curve)"); in direct mode it is the water temperature. On HeishaMon, a zone regulated by a room thermostat in direct mode keeps its setpoint in the curve settings: not supported yet.
- Cooling is offered on every HeishaMon heat pump (HeishaMon does not tell whether the installer enabled it); on the cloud, only when the heat pump supports it. A heat pump without cooling ignores the cooling commands.
- Energy: through HeishaMon, the power consumed (heating, cooling and hot water, or the more precise values of the recent heat pumps) is added up into an energy index in kWh, kept across restarts: add it to your energy dashboards. Through the cloud, Panasonic gives the consumption per day: each finished day is sent the next hour (the current day is not complete).
- The error trigger fires when the heat pump reports a new error code, not for the one already there when the integration starts. Filter on the heat pump and on a code (H62…) in the scene.
- Badges: an orange dot when the cloud adapter does not answer live (the values are then the copy the cloud kept), when HeishaMon is offline, or when it sent nothing for 15 minutes.
Troubleshooting
- "Panasonic refused the Panasonic ID or the password": check them in the Comfort Cloud app, then save the configuration again. The integration does not retry on its own, so as not to lock your account.
- "new terms of use": open the Panasonic Comfort Cloud app and accept them.
- The heat pump is missing from the cloud: the integration signs in like the Panasonic Comfort Cloud app: the heat pump must show up there with the same Panasonic ID.
- HeishaMon: "no value on panasonic_heat_pump/main/…": the broker answers, but HeishaMon does not publish there: check its MQTT server and base topic.
- HeishaMon is offline: the board sent its last will (power, Wi-Fi).
Privacy
- Cloud: the integration talks only to Panasonic
(
authglb.digital.panasonic.com,accsmart.panasonic.com) and reads the version of the Comfort Cloud app on Google Play. Your password is sent to Panasonic only at a login; the session (tokens) is kept in the volume of the integration, never the password. - HeishaMon: everything stays on your local network.
Parámetros de configuración
Estos son los parámetros que Panasonic Aquarea te pide en su pantalla de configuración en Gladys.
| Parámetro | Tipo | Obligatorio | Descripción |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your Aquarea heat pump in Gladys | section | No | Two ways to reach the heat pump: the Panasonic cloud (Aquarea Smart Cloud, with a CZ-TAW1 or CZ-TAW1B adapter), or a HeishaMon board on its CN-CNT port, read locally through your MQTT broker or its own web page. Fill in one of the two sections below. With both, the "Prefer the local connection" switch of Gladys picks HeishaMon when on, the cloud when off. You get the zone temperatures and setpoints, the hot water tank, the outdoor temperature, the mode, quiet and powerful modes, defrost, the error code (also a scene trigger) and the energy. Unofficial, not affiliated with Panasonic. |
| Aquarea Smart Cloud (Panasonic cloud) | section | No | The Panasonic ID you use in the Panasonic Comfort Cloud app, where your heat pump shows up. The integration signs in like the app and reads each heat pump every few minutes: Panasonic limits the calls of an account. If your Panasonic ID asks for a two-factor code, save the configuration, then type the current code with the "Send a two-factor code" button below. |
| Panasonic ID (e-mail address) | string | No | |
| Password of the Panasonic ID | secret | No | |
| Interval between two cloud reads (s) | number | No | Each heat pump is read at this pace (2 minutes, like the Home Assistant integration). The consumption per day is read once an hour. |
| Application version (advanced) | string | No | Leave empty: the integration announces the current version of the Comfort Cloud app, read from the app stores. Type one (e.g. 4.3.0) only if Panasonic refuses the version. |
| HeishaMon (local) | section | No | HeishaMon is a small open source board plugged on the CN-CNT port of the heat pump. Usually it publishes on your MQTT broker: type the address of the broker (mqtt://192.168.1.10:1883) and the base topic set in HeishaMon (panasonic_heat_pump by default; several heat pumps: separate their base topics with commas). Without a broker, type the address of the board itself (http://192.168.1.30): Gladys then reads its page at the interval below. |
| Address of the MQTT broker or of HeishaMon | string | No | |
| Base topic of HeishaMon | string | No | |
| Broker user name | string | No | |
| Broker password | secret | No | |
| Verify the TLS certificate (mqtts) | boolean | No | Turn off only for a broker with a self-signed certificate on your local network. |
| Interval between two reads of the HeishaMon page (s) | number | No | Only without a broker (http:// address). Through MQTT, HeishaMon sends each change at once. |
| In Gladys | section | No | How the values reach Gladys. |
| Minimum interval between two readings of a measurement (s) | number | No | Temperatures, powers and the compressor frequency change every few seconds on a running heat pump: Gladys keeps the last reading at this pace. Modes, setpoints and on/off are never delayed. |
| Language of the feature names | select | No | Names given to the features of the heat pump in Discovery (Outdoor temperature, Hot water setpoint…). |
