Integración domótica Orange Livebox, gratuita y de código abierto

Integración Orange Livebox para Gladys Assistant

Unofficial connector: Livebox Wi-Fi presence, internet link, Wi-Fi switches and missed calls, local.

info

La documentación de esta integración la escribe su autor y, por ahora, solo está disponible en inglés.

Unofficial connector, not affiliated with Orange. It talks to your Livebox on the local network, through the same API the box's administration page (http://livebox/) uses: nothing leaves your home. Works with the Livebox 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 (Sagemcom / Sercomm firmware). Livebox is a trademark of Orange.

What you get

SurfaceContent
The Livebox deviceinternet connected, link type (fiber, DSL), public IP, uptime, Wi-Fi and guest Wi-Fi switches, devices online (total and on Wi-Fi), missed calls and last call of the landline, and on a DSL box the download / upload rates
One presence sensor per deviceevery phone, tablet, TV or computer the box knows on Wi-Fi (and on Ethernet if you ask), named like in the Livebox: the simplest "who is home" detection
Scene triggersdevice connected, device disconnected, missed call, internet up or down
Scene actionsdevices online (count and names), Wi-Fi on / off (main or guest), reboot
Dashboard widgetsLivebox (state, link, uptime, counters, Wi-Fi buttons) and Livebox devices (who is online)

Setup

  1. Install the integration. The address 192.168.1.1 and the user admin fit a standard Livebox; change them if yours differ.
  2. Type the administration password: the one you use on http://livebox/. By default it is the first 8 characters of the Wi-Fi key printed on the box (or the one you set in the Livebox settings).
  3. Save, click Test the connection: the model, firmware and internet state are shown.
  4. Open Discovery: the Livebox and every Wi-Fi device it knows are offered. Add the box and the devices you want to track (your phones for presence, the TV for "when the TV turns on"…). Tick wired devices in the configuration to offer the Ethernet ones too.
  5. Put the widgets on a dashboard.

Everything is read every 30 seconds by default (Refresh interval); the box information every 10 minutes, the DSL line every 5.

Scenes

  • Device connected / disconnected: pick one of your tracked devices, or leave it empty for any. "Phone connected" is the usual "I'm home"; add a delay on the disconnection to absorb a phone going to sleep.
  • Missed call: the landline rang and nobody answered; the variables carry the caller's number and name (when the box knows it). Send a notification with {{triggerEvent.data.number}}.
  • Internet up or down: for a notification, or a watchdog scene: after 10 minutes down, run the reboot action.
  • The action devices online gives {{online}}, {{wifi_online}} and {{names}}; Wi-Fi on / off switches the main or guest network (night mode, guests arriving).

The presence sensors are also plain Gladys presence sensors: they work with the "house empty" and "someone came back" built-in triggers and the alarm.

Troubleshooting

  • "The Livebox refused the login": the password is the one of the administration page, not the Wi-Fi key itself (its first 8 characters by default). Some boxes block the login for a few minutes after several failures.
  • "The Livebox does not answer": check the address; the integration runs in a container on the Gladys host, which must reach the box (same LAN, or a route to it).
  • A device never shows "away": the Livebox keeps a device "active" for a while after it left (several minutes on Wi-Fi); phones in deep sleep can also disappear and reappear. Use a delay in the scene.
  • No download / upload rate: those come from the xDSL line; a fiber box reports the internet state and IP only.
  • No missed calls: the landline must be on the box (VoIP) and the call log readable with this account; untick Read the call log otherwise.
  • Logs: the integration's log level is set with the LOG_LEVEL variable.

Privacy

The password is stored encrypted by Gladys and only sent to the box on your LAN. The device names, addresses and call log stay in Gladys.

Cómo instalar Orange Livebox en Gladys

Orange Livebox requiere Gladys >=5.1.0. El catálogo de Gladys se actualiza cada hora, así que una nueva versión está disponible como máximo una hora después de publicarse.

¿Todavía no usas Gladys?
