Thermorossi WiNET smart home integration, free and open source

Control Thermorossi (and other WiNET/NetSoftware) pellet stoves in Gladys Assistant.
Local WiNET module (recommended)
The integration talks directly to the stove's WiNET module (configurable LAN IP): full state, fire level 0-5, fan speed 1-6, flue temperature, pellets low, weekly program, alarms with explicit messages. Automatic cloud fallback when the module is unreachable. This integration brings WiNET Wi-Fi pellet stoves (Thermorossi, and other brands on the thermorossi.cloudwinet.it / cloudwinet.it portal) into Gladys Assistant.
What it does
One device per stove, with the features the stove has: on/off (thermostat
mode), air setpoint (5 to 40 °C), heating state, room temperature sensor,
state in words (standby, ignition, working, cleaning, alarm…), an alarm
binary sensor and the power level select (1 to 5). Scenes can also trigger on
the stove_alarm event, once per alarm.
Prerequisites
- A WiNET stove that works in the Thermorossi Connector app (portal https://thermorossi.cloudwinet.it).
- Gladys Assistant 5.1 or later.
Setup
- Install the integration from Integrations in Gladys.
- In the Configuration tab, enter the WiNET portal e-mail and password, then click Test the connection: the stove state is shown.
- Open the Discovery tab and create the stove.
The integration talks to the WiNET cloud over the Internet, never to the stove directly: the stove must be online in the app. Credentials stay in the Gladys configuration (secret field); the device API key, scraped from the portal like the app does, is kept in the integration data volume and re-scraped automatically when the cloud refuses it.
Troubleshooting
- “WiNET portal login failed”: check the credentials; a new attempt is retried automatically every 15 minutes.
- The cloud returns 0 °C temperatures while the stove is off: the integration then publishes the mode and state only, never a fake temperature.
- The WiNET module keeps a single active session: if the official app is open at the same time, command conflicts are possible.
Unofficial community integration, not affiliated with Thermorossi or NetSoftware.
Configuration settings
These are the settings Thermorossi WiNET asks for in its configuration screen in Gladys.
| Setting | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Getting started | section | No | Use the e-mail and password of the Thermorossi WiNET portal (the same account as the Thermorossi Connector app). The integration reads your device's API key from the portal, exactly like the app does, then talks to the WiNET cloud. Unofficial integration, no affiliation with Thermorossi or NetSoftware. |
| Portal e-mail | string | Yes | |
| Portal password | secret | Yes | |
| Stove name (optional) | string | No | Name shown in Gladys. Leave empty to use the name declared on the portal. |
| Stove WiNET module IP (LAN) | string | No | Direct local read/write on the stove's WiNET module — exposes everything (fan speed, flame level, flue temperature, detailed alarms). Leave empty to use only the WiNET cloud (reduced data). |
| Labels language | select | No | |
| Refresh interval (s) | number | No | How often the stove is read, in seconds (one minute minimum, to stay courteous with the cloud). |
How to install Thermorossi WiNET in Gladys
- In Gladys, open Integrations: Thermorossi WiNET appears in the catalog, next to the native integrations, with a community badge.
- Click Install. Gladys pulls the Docker image (
ghcr.io/tchoinard38/gladys-winet:1.2.2), starts it in a sandbox isolated from the core, and generates the integration's interface (devices, discovery and configuration). - Open the Configuration screen of the integration, fill in the settings, and save.
- You can also install it directly from its repository URL: https://github.com/tchoinard38/gladys-winet.
Thermorossi WiNET requires Gladys >=5.1.0. The catalog inside Gladys refreshes every hour, so a new version becomes available at most one hour after its release.
Not running Gladys yet? It is free and open source: follow the installation guide to get started.
About external integrations
Thermorossi WiNET is an external integration: a community integration packaged as a Docker container and published on GitHub, that Gladys installs in one click and runs in a sandbox isolated from its core. It is published and maintained by tchoinard38, not by the Gladys core team.

- Build and publish your own external integration
