Enki integration for Gladys Assistant

Control your Enki (Leroy Merlin) lights and ceiling fans from Gladys, via the Enki cloud.

Overview​

This integration connects Gladys Assistant to the Enki cloud (the smart home ecosystem sold by Leroy Merlin / Adeo) to control your Enki devices — lights, ceiling fans, outlets, roller shutters and sensors — from Gladys, using the same account as the Enki mobile app.

Once configured, every compatible device of your Enki account appears in the Gladys Discovery screen. Depending on the device, it exposes these features:

  • Light — turn the bulb (or the fan's light kit) on or off;
  • Brightness — dim the light between 0 and 100 %, when the bulb is dimmable;
  • Color temperature — warm-to-cold white, when the bulb is tunable-white;
  • Color — RGB color, when the bulb supports it;
  • Fan speed — the ceiling fan speed from 0 (off) to 100 % (Enki levels 1–6);
  • Airflow direction — forward / reverse blade rotation, when supported;
  • Outlet — on/off for connected sockets and relays;
  • Roller shutter — position from 0 (closed) to 100 % (open), plus stop;
  • Sensors — temperature, humidity, illuminance, motion, opening/contact, water leak and low-battery, when the device reports them;
  • Heating — target temperature (radiators/thermostats) and pilot-wire mode (comfort / eco / frost-protection / off), plus the current temperature.

Detection is capability-based, so most Enki / Leroy Merlin models work out of the box (around 150 of the ~210 catalogued models). A ceiling fan with a light kit shows both the fan and the light features on the same device, and a multisensor shows every reading it provides. States are refreshed every 15 seconds, so changes made from the Enki app or a physical remote show up in Gladys shortly after.

Sirens, cameras and energy metering are not handled yet.

Prerequisites​

  • An Enki account with your devices already paired and visible in the Enki mobile app. This integration does not replace Enki pairing: set the devices up in the Enki app first.
  • Internet access from your Gladys instance: the integration talks to the Enki cloud, not to the devices directly.
  • Only Enki / Leroy Merlin lights and ceiling fans are handled. Third-party Zigbee devices paired on the Enki hub are out of scope (use Zigbee2MQTT / ZHA).

Configuration​

  1. Install the integration from the Gladys store.
  2. Open its Configuration screen and fill in:
    • Enki email — the email address of your Enki account;
    • Enki password — the password of that account (stored as a secret, never displayed back).
  3. Save. The integration logs in to Enki and loads your devices.
  4. Open the Discovery screen: your lights and fans are listed there. Add the ones you want, then place them in your rooms and dashboards like any Gladys device.

To use another Enki account later, just update the email and password in the Configuration screen: the integration reconnects and refreshes the device list automatically.

Troubleshooting​

  • "Enki is not configured" during discovery — the email or password is missing: fill in both fields in the Configuration screen and save.
  • Login fails — double-check your credentials by signing in with the Enki mobile app.
  • A device is missing from Discovery — make sure it is a Leroy Merlin / Enki light or ceiling fan and that it is visible in the Enki app with the same account, then run the discovery again.
  • Commands seem ignored — the Enki cloud can take a few seconds to push a command to the device; the state in Gladys reflects the cloud state and catches up at the next 15-second poll.
  • States stop updating — the Enki session may have expired; the integration refreshes its token automatically. If the problem persists, check the integration logs from its configuration page in Gladys.

The Enki cloud API is unofficial and was documented by the community Home Assistant integrations (cyrilcolinet, clamoriniere). This integration is not affiliated with Leroy Merlin, Adeo or Enki.

How to install Enki in Gladys​

  1. In Gladys, open Integrations: Enki appears in the catalog, next to the native integrations, with a community badge.
  2. Click Install. Gladys pulls the Docker image (ghcr.io/callemand/gladys-enki:1.0.1), starts it in a sandbox isolated from the core, and generates the integration's interface (devices, discovery and configuration).
  3. Open the Configuration screen of the integration, fill in the settings, and save.
  4. You can also install it directly from its repository URL: https://github.com/callemand/gladys-enki.

Enki requires Gladys >=4.62.0. The catalog inside Gladys refreshes every hour, so a new version becomes available at most one hour after its release.

Enki is an external integration: a community integration packaged as a Docker container and published on GitHub, that Gladys installs in one click and runs in a sandbox isolated from its core. It is published and maintained by callemand, not by the Gladys core team.
