Daikin Airbase smart home integration, free and open source

Daikin ducted air conditioning via a local Airbase (BRP15B61) adapter: mode, temperature, zones.
Controls Daikin ducted air conditioning fitted with an Airbase (BRP15B61) Wi-Fi adapter, directly on your local network — no Daikin account or cloud.
Features
- Power, Mode (auto, cool, heat, dry, fan), Target temperature and Fan speed (auto, low, mid, high).
- Indoor temperature, and Outdoor temperature when the unit reports it.
- One switch per zone, named as in the Daikin Airbase app.
Configuration
- In your router, give the adapter a fixed IP (DHCP reservation).
- Enter that IP in the Configuration tab (several adapters: separate with commas).
- Open the Discovery tab and create the device.
Troubleshooting
- No Airbase adapter answered — check the IP, and that
http://<ip>/skyfi/common/basic_infoopens in a browser on the same network. - Changes from the wall controller appear after the refresh interval (30 s by default).
- Logs:
docker logson the integration container.
Configuration settings
These are the settings Daikin Airbase asks for in its configuration screen in Gladys.
| Setting | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Airbase adapters | section | No | The adapter is reached directly on your network, no Daikin account needed. Give it a fixed IP (a DHCP reservation on your router) so it keeps the same address. |
| Adapter IP address(es) | string | Yes | One or more, separated by commas, e.g. 192.168.1.50 |
| Refresh interval (s) | number | No | How often the adapter is read; changes made from the wall controller or the Daikin app appear within this delay. |
How to install Daikin Airbase in Gladys
- In Gladys, open Integrations: Daikin Airbase appears in the catalog, next to the native integrations, with a community badge.
- Click Install. Gladys pulls the Docker image (
ghcr.io/plsoftware/gladys-daikin-controller:0.1.1), starts it in a sandbox isolated from the core, and generates the integration's interface (devices, discovery and configuration). - Open the Configuration screen of the integration, fill in the settings, and save.
- You can also install it directly from its repository URL: https://github.com/plsoftware/gladys-daikin-controller.
Daikin Airbase requires Gladys >=5.1.0. The catalog inside Gladys refreshes every hour, so a new version becomes available at most one hour after its release.
Not running Gladys yet? It is free and open source: follow the installation guide to get started.
About external integrations
Daikin Airbase is an external integration: a community integration packaged as a Docker container and published on GitHub, that Gladys installs in one click and runs in a sandbox isolated from its core. It is published and maintained by plsoftware, not by the Gladys core team.

- Discover the native integrations built into Gladys
- Build and publish your own external integration
